Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat (Dhs)



HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT (DHS)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear seat back.
2. Fully extend the head restraint.
3. Remove the seat back cushion cover J channel, below the head restraint being serviced.
4. Pull up on the seat back cover (2) in order to access the rear seat head restraint release buttons (1).




5. Push in on the head restraint release buttons and remove the rear head restraint (1) from the seat back (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the seat back J channels (2) to the seat back frame.
2. Install the rear seat back.




3. Align the head restraint (1) with the seat back.
4. Push the head restraint downward into the seat back in order to engage the head restraint into the retainers (2).
5. Check for proper operation of the head restraint.
