Generator Bracket Replacement - Auxiliary

GENERATOR BRACKET REPLACEMENT - AUXILIARY

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the auxiliary generator.
2. Remove the power steering pump pulley.




3. Remove the bolt securing the power steering pressure hose to the auxiliary generator bracket.




4. Remove the bolts securing the auxiliary generator bracket to the cylinder head and the power steering pump.
5. Remove the auxiliary generator bracket from the engine.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the auxiliary generator bracket to the engine.
2. Install the bolts securing the auxiliary generator bracket to the cylinder head and the power steering pump.

Tighten the auxiliary generator bracket mounting bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the bolt securing the power steering pressure hose to the auxiliary generator bracket.

Tighten the power steering pressure hose to auxiliary generator bracket bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

4. Install the power steering pump pulley.
5. Install the auxiliary generator.
