False Door Glass Reversal When "Express-Up" Is Used (Adjust Door Glass)

2005-2006 Cadillac DeVille, DTS
Condition
Some customer may comment that their door glass reverses after the "Express-Up" function is used. This condition may occur between halfway closed to 25.4 mm (1 in) from fully closed.
Cause
The door glass may be out of adjustment
Correction
1. Remove the water deflector.
2. Lower the glass just enough to get to the door window clamps. Loosen the clamps.
3. Pull the window all the way to the rear.
4. Tighten the window clamp fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10.5 N.m (93 lb in).
5. Reinstall the water deflector and door trim.
