HVAC Control Module (Climate Control Panel) Display May Flicker
Intermittently (Reprogram HVAC Control Module)

Models:
2003-2007 Cadillac CTS, CTS-V
2004-2006 Cadillac SRX

Condition

Some customers may comment that the Heating, Ventilation and A/C Conditioning (HVAC) Control Module (Climate Control Panel) display may intermittently flash bright and then return to normal illumination. The condition is most noticeable at night. The condition may also be described as a display flicker.

Correction





A revised calibration has been developed to address this condition. Technicians are to reprogram the HVAC Control Module using the Service Programming System (SPS) with the latest software available on TIS2WEB. Refer to the HVAC Control Module Programming and Setup procedures in SI. As always make sure your Tech 2(R) is updated with the latest software version.
