Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 (Right) Intake

CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REPLACEMENT - BANK 1 (RIGHT) INTAKE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




- Turn the ignition OFF.
- Remove the front compartment sight shields as necessary.
- Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.




- Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
- Remove the CMP sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




- Install the CMP sensor.
- Install the CMP sensor bolt.

NOTE Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




- Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector.
- Install the front compartment sight shields as necessary.
