Primary Camshaft Drive Chain Guide Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front cover.





2. Remove the two bolts attaching the primary camshaft drive chain guide (1) to the engine block.
3. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain guide (1).
4. Clean and inspect the camshaft timing drive components.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the primary camshaft drive chain guide (1) and retaining bolts.
Tighten the primary camshaft drive chain guide bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the front cover.
