Timing Chain: Specifications

Secondary Camshaft Drive Chain - Left
Install the left intake camshaft sprocket bolt.
Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt to 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.)

Use an open end wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent the camshaft from rotating when tightening the camshaft sprocket bolt.





Secondary Camshaft Drive Chain - Right
Install the right exhaust camshaft sprocket bolt.
Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt to 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.)





Primary Camshaft Drive Chain and Sprockets
Use the J39946 to align the crankshaft key (1) with the drive sprocket.

^ The camshaft intermediate sprocket

Install the camshaft intermediate sprocket retaining bolt (3).
Tighten the camshaft intermediate sprocket retaining bolt to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.)
