Liftgate Calibration

Important: To ensure proper calibration of the liftgate module, the liftgate system must be at room temperature during the calibration procedure.

Conditions

Use this procedure after replacing, repairing, or disassembling any portion of the power liftgate assembly.

Calibrate Liftgate

Important: The liftgate must be in the closed position when beginning the liftgate calibration. Failure to do so will result in a failed liftgate calibration.

1. Close the vehicle liftgate.
2. Connect the Tech 2 to the vehicle.
3. Select Special Funtions in the Liftgate Module menu.
4. Select LGM Open/Close Test.
5. Follow the on screen instructions.
