Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the supercharger assembly.




2. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the crankshaft position sensor retaining bolt.
4. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.

Installation Procedure






Important: Inspect the crankshaft position sensor O-ring for wear or damage. If a problem is found, replace the O-ring.

1. Lubricate the crankshaft position sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the crankshaft position sensor and the retaining bolt.

Tighten the crankshaft position sensor retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector.




4. Install the supercharger assembly.
