Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the front compartment sight shield as necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement (Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement) .
3. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the oil pressure sensor.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the oil pressure sensor.

Tighten the oil pressure sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Install the front compartment sight shield as necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement (Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement) .
