Body Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the screws securing the body control module to the module bracket.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Install the module to the bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Install the screws that secure the module to the bracket.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Reprogram the module. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
