Drive Belt Tensioner Installation

Inner Drive Belt Tensioner - Generator





1. Select the inner drive belt tensioner (1).




2. Place the inner drive belt tensioner in position to the generator bracket. Ensure to properly locate the inner drive belt tensioner anchor pin in the recess (1) in the generator bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Install the inner drive belt tensioner bolt.

Tighten the inner drive belt tensioner bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).




Center Drive Belt Tensioner - A/C Compressor, Water Pump and Power Steering Pump





1. Select the center drive belt tensioner (2).




2. Place the center drive belt tensioner in position to the left camshaft position actuator housing. Ensure to properly locate the center drive belt tensioner anchor pin in the recess (1) in the left camshaft position actuator housing.
3. Install the center drive belt tensioner bolt.

Tighten the center drive belt tensioner bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).




Outer Drive Belt Tensioner - Supercharger





1. Select the outer drive belt tensioner (3).




2. Place the outer drive belt tensioner in position to the right camshaft position actuator housing. Ensure to properly locate the outer drive belt tensioner anchor pin in the recess (1) in the right camshaft position actuator housing.
3. Install the outer drive belt tensioner bolt.

Tighten the outer drive belt tensioner bolt to 50 N.m (38 lb ft).
