Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the power mirror face. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement (Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement).




2. Remove the power mirror motor screws (1).
3. Remove the power mirror motor from the housing (2).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) from the rear of the mirror.




5. Remove the power mirror housing screw (1).




6. Remove the power mirror housing (1) from the mirror support (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power mirror housing (1) to the mirror support (2).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the power mirror housing screw (1) and tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb in).




3. Connect the electrical connectors (3) to the mirror and install the mirror motor into the housing.
4. Install the power mirror motor to the housing (2) screws and tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb in).
5. Install the power mirror face. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement (Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement).
6. Inspect the mirror for proper operation.
