Barometric Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Disconnect the barometric pressure (BARO) sensor (2) electrical connector.

Important: The BARO sensor does not use a vacuum line.


4. Remove the BARO sensor (2) from the bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the BARO sensor (2) to the bracket.
2. Connect the BARO sensor electrical connector.
3. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
