Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Installation

Special Tools
* EN 46106 - Engine Flywheel Holding Tool
* EN 45059 - Torque Angle Sensor Kit

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Special Tools).




1. Install the automatic transmission flex plate (2).
2. Loosely install the NEW 8 automatic transmission flex plate bolts (1).




3. Install the EN 46106 - holder.




4. Tighten the 8 automatic transmission flex plate bolts (1) to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
5. Tighten the NEW 8 automatic transmission flex plate bolts an additional 45 degrees using the EN 45059 - kit.




6. Remove the EN 46106 - holder.
