Front Side Door Lock Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Place the window in the full up position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).
3. Remove the water deflector.




4. Remove the wiring harness from the retainers (1).
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
6. Remove the screw cover (3).
7. Remove the screws (4) from the outer edge of the door and from the inside.
8. Remove the front side door latch cover (5) from inside the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front side door latch cover (5) to cover the lock.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the screws (4) to the outer edge of the door and to the inside and tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb in).
3. Install the screw cover (3).
4. Connect the electrical connector (2).
5. Install the wiring harness to the retainers (1).
6. Install the water deflector.
7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).
