Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch Replacement (J64)

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the brake fluid level indicator switch electrical connector.




2. Pressing inward through the access hole in the front of the master cylinder reservoir with a small punch or similar blunt tool, release the brake fluid level indicator switch locking tab.

3. Remove the brake fluid level indicator switch (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the brake fluid level indicator switch (1).

2. Ensure the locking tab of the brake fluid level indicator switch is fully engaged in the master cylinder reservoir.

3. Connect the brake fluid level indicator switch electrical connector.
