Description: inspect, replace catalytic converter on (1981 Corvette Models) in accordance with the instructions outlined in this campaign bulletin.

*Campaign Administrative Allowance.

**When it is necessary to use P/N 25056680 "upper bed bead kit" and/ or P/N 25056682 "lower bed bead kit", the part price plus 30% for the kit(s) must be entered in the "NET AMOUNT COLUMN". ZONE APPROVAL wilh an "E" Authorization is REQUIRED.

Important: When P/N 25056680 (upper bed bead kit) and/or P/N 25056682 (lower bed bead kit) are needed to repair a vehicle, the entire cost of the bead kit should be claimed on the vehicle for which the kit was purchased even though the entire kit is not used to complete the repair. Subsequent use of the remaining beads from the kit for future repairs must not be claimed for credit.

***The Parts Allowance should be the sum total of the current WDDGM Dealer Net plus 30% of all parts required for the repair.

CAMPAIGN IDENTIFICATION LABEL

Each vehicle modified in accordance with the instructions outlined in this Product Campaign Bulletin will require a "Campaign Identification Label". Each label provides a space to include the five digit dealer code of the dealer performing the campaign service. This information may be inserted with a typewriter or ballpoint pen.
Each "Campaign Identification Label" is to be located on the radiator core support in an area which will be visible when the vehicle is brought in for periodic servicing by the owner.

Apply "Campaign Identification Label" only on a clean dry surface.

General Motors has determined that certain 1981 full Size Chevrolet, Camaro, Malibu, Monte Carlo, El Camino and Corvette Models may develop restricted catalytic converters resulting in poor engine performance or a no start condition.

To prevent the possibility of this condition occurring, it will be necessary to replace the catalytic converter on your vehicle.

Instructions for making this correction have been sent to your Chevrolet Dealer.

Please contact your dealer to arrange a service date to have these modifications performed. The labor time required to perform these modifications is approximately one hour. Please allow additional time for the dealer to process your vehicle.

The enclosed owner reply card identifies your vehicle. Presen-
tation of this card to your dealer will assist in making the
necessary correction to your vehicle in the shortest possible
time. If you have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us
know by completing the postage paid owner reply card and returning it to us.
