TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS
The following revised servo application applies in correcting conditions of slow resume response and speed loss on hills.
SERVO SERVICE PACKAGE APPLICATION
25031452 - "A" series with diesel.
25030980 - "G" and "B" series with V8 diesel and
three speed transmission; "G" car with V6 diesel.
25031726 - "B" series with V8 diesel and four
speed transmission.
25031535 - "C-K" 10-20 series truck with 6.2L
diesel.
SERVICE INFORMATION
A. Perform normal service procedure as outlined in the service manual. If no condition is found, go to Step B.
B. Check manufacturing date code* on servo assembly. If it is date coded between the dates of 2132 (two hundred thirteenth day of year, 1982) and 0033 (third day of 1983), replace it with a unit manufactured either before or after the dates indicated.
C. Dealer inventory of 25031452, 25030980, 25031726, and 25031535, dated between 2132 and 0033, should be returned to the servicing WDDGM warehouse for credit.
