Pressure Regulator Valve

1. Drain transmission fluid, then remove oil pan and screen.





2. Using a small screwdriver or tool J-24684, see image, compress regulator spring.

3. Remove retaining ring and slowly release spring tension.

4. Remove pressure regulator bore plug, valve, spring and guide.

5. To assemble, install pressure regulator spring, guide and valve with stem end first and bore plug with hole side out.

6. Using a small screwdriver or tool J-24684, see image above step 2, compress regulator spring and install retaining ring.
