Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 3 Light switch replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Pull headlamp switch knob to ``On'' position, Fig. 3.
3. Reach under instrument panel and depress switch shaft retainer button while pulling on the switch control shaft knob.
4. With a large bladed screwdriver, remove the light switch ferrule nut from front of instrument panel.
5. Disconnect the multi-contact connector from side of switch and remove switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
