Valve Clearance: Adjustments
On 4-97.6 (except Nova) and 4-112 overhead cam engines, valve lash is obtained through the use of hydraulic valve lash adjusters (4-97.6) or compensators (4-112). No provision for adjustment is provided.
4-151 engines are equipped with hydraulic valve lifters. No provision for adjustment is made for these engines.
