Thermal Vacuum Valve: Service and Repair
1.
Drain engine coolant.
2.
Disconnect vacuum hoses from
EGR-TVS and remove switch.
3.
Reverse procedure to install switch, noting the following.

Apply a suitable sealer to the
EGR-TVS threads.
-
Torque switch to
20 ft lb.
