Clutch Cover

1. Using tool No. J-26941, remove differential side bearing cup and shim.

2. Using tool No. J-26941,remove input shaft and output shaft bearing cups. Remove shim from input shaft bearing cup bore and oil shield, shim and retainer from output shaft bearing cup bore.

3. Remove external oil ring and internal oil seal from sleeve.

4. Remove plastic oil scoop.

5. If necessary, use tool No. J-28412, to replace clutch fork shaft or bushing. The clutch fork shaft oil seal should be replaced after installing clutch shaft or bushing.

6. Clean sealant from mating surface of clutch cover, using care not to damage mating surface.

7. Clean all components and inspect and replace as necessary.

8. Install plastic oil scoop.

9. Install external oil ring on sleeve, then install input shaft bearing retainer and torque bolts to 7 ft lbs.

10. Use tool No. J-26936 to install internal oil seal.
