Disassemble
1. Using tool No. J-22912-01 in 4th gear roove, press 4th gear and bearing from input shaft. On 1982-85 models, the 4th gear and bearing will slide off the input shaft.
2. Remove blocker ring, then remove snap ring from 3-4 synchronizer.
3. Using support plates behind 3rd gear, press 3rd gear and 3-4 synchronizer from input shaft.
4. Using tool No. J-26946, press input shaft bearing from input shaft.
