Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Testing and Inspection

Clean hoses and regulating orifice in detergent oil and blow away foreign matter with compressed air.
- If equipped with a regulating valve (PCV), disassemble valve, wash parts in detergent oil and inspect parts for damage.
- Replace assembly if any parts are found defective.
- Inspect hoses for cracks, fatigue or swelling. Replace hoses if defective.
