Neutral Safety Switch: Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Adjust inhibitor switch, if engine can be stated in any gear shift lever position other than PARK or NEUTRAL.

1. Loosen switch retaining screws and ad- just switch so that center of moving piece of switch aligns with neutral position indicator line on steel case when shift lever is set in NEUTRAL position.
2. Check adjustment by performing a continuity test on switch with shift lever in each position
