Lockplate

Fig. 8 Exploded View Of New Process Model 208 Transfer Case:

1. Remove and discard lockplate attaching bolts.
2. Remove lockplate from case, Fig. 8.
3. Coat case and lockplate surfaces around bolt holes with Loctite 515 sealer or equivalent.
4. Position new lockplate in case and align bolt holes in lockplate and case.
5. Coat new lockplate attaching bolts with Loctite 271 sealer or equivalent.
6. Install lockplate attaching bolts and torque to 30 ft. lbs.
