Drive Belt: Service and Repair

INSPECTION
Check drive belt for cracks, fraying, wear and proper tension.
- Adjust or replace belt(s) as necessary.

ADJUSTMENT
Using a suitable belt tension gauge, adjust belt according to the following specifications:

5/16 inch belt
- 8O lbs. Max. (New)
- 50 lbs. Min. (Used)

3/8 inch belt
- 140 lbs. Max. (New)
- 70 lbs. Min. (Used)

15/32 inch belt
- 165 lbs. Max. (New)
- 90 lbs. Min. (Used)
