Detent/T.V. Cable Adjust

1. Remove cruise control rod (if so equipped).

2. Disconnect transmission detent cable terminal from throttle assembly, then loosen locknut on pump rod and shorten several turns.

3. Rotate lever assembly to full throttle and hold while lengthening pump rod until injection pump lever contacts full throttle stop, then release lever assembly and tighten pump rod locknut

4. Remove pump rod from lever assembly.

5. Reconnect transmission detent cable terminal to throttle assembly.

6. Depress and hold readjust tab on upper end of cable and move slider through fitting away from lever assembly until slider rests against fitting.

7. Release readjust tab, then rotate assembly to full throttle stop and release lever assembly.

8. Reconnect pump rod and cruise control rod if so equipped.

9. On models with cruise control adjust servo throttle rod to minimum slack with engine off and install clip in first free hole closest to bellcrank but within servo ball.
