Low or High Shift Points
1. Oil pressure: Check engine vacuum at transmission end of the modulator pipe.2. Vacuum modulator assembly vacuum line connections at engine and transmission modulator valve, pressure regulator valve train.
3. Check governor for sticking valve, restricted or leaking feed holes, damaged pipes or plugged feed line.
4. Detent valve stuck open.
5. 1-2 or 2-3 valve train sticking.
6. Check case for porosity.
