No Reverse or Slips In Reverse
1. 3-4 apply ring stuck in applied position.2. Forward clutch not releasing.
3. Turbine shaft seals missing, cut or damaged.
4. Manual linkage incorrectly adjusted.
5. Oil pump retainer and ball assembly missing or damaged.
6. Oil pump stator shaft sleeve scored or damaged.
7. Reverse boost valve stuck, damaged or incorrectly installed.
8. Oil pump cup plug missing.
9. Oil pump converter clutch apply valve stuck
10. Oil pump face not flat or restricted oil passa9e.
11. 2-3 shift valve stuck
12. Valve body spacer plate and gaskets incorrect, damaged or incorrectly installed.
13. Reverse input clutch plate worn.
14. Reverse input housing and drum assembly cracked at weld.
15. Reverse input clutch plate retaining ring out of groove.
16. Reverse input clutch return spring assembly retaining ring out of groove.
17. Reverse input clutch seals cut or damaged.
18. Reverse input clutch retainer and ball assembly not sealing.
19. Restricted oil apply passage in reverse input clutch.
20. Lo and reverse clutch plates worn.
21. Lo and reverse clutch plate retaining ring incorrectly installed.
22. Porosity in lo and reverse clutch piston.
23. Lo and reverse clutch seals damaged or oil apply passage restricted.
24. Case cover plate gasket missing, damaged or incorrectly torqued.
