CHEVROLET
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove four steering column lower cover screws and the cover.
3. If equipped with automatic transmission, disconnect shift indicator cable from steering column.
4. Remove two steering column to instrument panel screws and lower steering column. Use extreme care when lowering steering to prevent damage to column assembly.
5. Remove six screws and the three snap-in fasteners from perimeter of instrument cluster lens, Fig. 13.
6. Remove two screws from upper surface of gray sheet metal trim plate.
7. Remove two stud nuts from lower corner of cluster.
8. Disconnect speedometer cable and pull cluster from instrument panel.
9. Disconnect electrical connectors from cluster and remove from vehicle.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
