Blower Motor: Service and Repair

CHEVETTE & 1000

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and blower motor lead wire.
2. Scribe blower motor flange to case position.
3. Remove blower to case attaching screws, then the blower motor an wheel as an assembly, prying flange
4. Remove blower wheel retaining nut and separate motor and wheel.
5. Reverse procedure to install, aligning scribe marks made during disassembly. Assemble blower wheel to motor with open end of wheel away from motor.
