The clutch pedal must be fully depressed and the ignition switch in START position for the vehicle to start.
The clutch switch assembly mounts with two tangs to the clutch pedal brace switch pivot bracket and the clutch pedal arm, Fig. 4.
1. Working from underneath instrument panel, remove multi-contact connector from switch on clutch pedal support.
2. Compress switch assembly actuating shaft barb retainer and push out of clutch pedal.
3. Compress switch assembly pivot bracket barb and lift off switch.
4. When installing new switch, no adjustments are necessary as the switch is self aligning.
