The Generator Diagnosis and Checking Procedure shown on Page 6D-4 of the 1985 through 1987 Spectrum Service Manual should not be used. The Generator Checker shown in Figure 6D-4 of these Service Manuals is not available for diagnosing the generator.

If damage or excessive wear is discovered during inspection, remove the generator from the vehicle and make the necessary repairs or replace the generator.
