CHANGING FLUID

For transmission fluid Capacity and type, refer to the "Lubricant Data" chart.

1. Raise and support vehicle, then place a suitable container under transaxle drain plug.
2. Remove drain plug and drain fluid, then reinstall and tighten drain plug.
3. With engine off, add specified amount of Dexron II type transmission fluid.
4. start engine, then remove selector lever through all ranges and end in "P."
5. With engine idling, check fluid level, then if necessary, add fluid as necessary to bring fluid to "Cool" level on dipstick.
