REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Refrigerant from the system.
3. Cover assembly (314).
4. Electrical connections (336 and 337).
5. Nut from the fitting block (343).
6. Screws that hold the assembly to the body.
7. Blower motor and evaporator assembly (316).

INSPECT
Gaskets (340) for damage; if damaged, replace.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Gaskets (340) to inlet and outlet refrigerant lines.
2. Blower motor and evaporator assembly.
^ Tighten
^ Screws to 5 Nm (4 in. lbs.).
^ Nut (343) to the fitting block 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Electrical connections (336 and 337).
4. Cover assembly (314).
5. Refrigerant to the system.
6. Negative battery cable.
