Some 1986-87 Celebrities may have warped or misaligned front valance panels. Repairs can be accomplished by installing a new valance panel using the following installation sequence:
1. Hang valance panel from fenders by attaching at each side (do not start by attaching the valance panel at its center area first).
2. Attach three lower mounting tabs, starting at the right side first and then move across vehicle to the left.
3. Attach the panel center in the grill area while positioning the panel with a slight pressure pushing the part up. This attachment should be made at the hood latch support, not using the previous hole, but let it find its own hole. Use a self tapping screw to fasten panel in place.
