Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

Outside Temperature Sensor:

REMOVE
1. Battery negative cable.
2. Outside air temperature sensor electrical connector.
3. Bolt securing sensor.
4. Sensor by pulling wire and grommet through grommet opening in radiator air upper baffle.

INSTALL
1. Feed wire and grommet through grommet opening in radiator air upper baffle.
2. Bolt securing outside air temperature sensor. Tighten bolt to 1.9 Nm (17 in lb).
3. Sensor electrical connector.
4. Battery negative cable.
