Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair
Replace
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Drain cooling system, then remove radiator.
3.
Remove
oxygen sensor wire, then the oxygen sensor connector.
4.
Loosen turbocharger upper cover attaching bolt, then remove turbocharger side cover.
5.
Remove
oxygen sensor.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque
oxygen sensor to 33 - 39 ft. lbs.
