Ignition Timing: Adjustments

Set timing under the following conditions:
Normal operating temperature
Air cleaner installed
A/C off
Transmission in park or neutral
Disconnect SET TIMING connector located in harness close to blower motor.

Connect timing light and adjust as necessary by loosening hold down bolt and rotating distributor. Tighten hold down, recheck timing and connect SET TIMING connector. Memory must be cleared after setting timing.
