Connecting Rod Bearing

On engines except 16 valve models, connecting rod service bearings are available in 3 standard sizes, marked either 1, 2 or 3. Replace the bearing with one having the same mark on the bearing cap. Main bearings are available in 3 standard sizes marked 1, 2 or 3. If replacing the bearing, replace with one having the same number as marked on the cylinder block.
On 16 valve engines, main and connecting rod bearings are available in standard and undersizes of .010 inch (.25 mm).
