Control Panel

Control Panel:

REMOVE
1. Battery negative cable.
2. Tilt lever.
3. Headlamp knob.
4. Cluster trim plate.
5. Accessory trim plate.
6. Screws securing floor console trim plate and reposition trim plate.
7. Control panel screws.
8. Control panel assembly by rotating panel and disconnecting electrical connector.

INSTALL
1. Electrical connector to control panel and install control panel. Tighten the Control panel bolts to 1.9 Nm (17 in lb).
2. Floor console trim plate.
3. Accessory trim plate.
4. Cluster trim plate.
5. Headlamp knob.
6. Tilt lever.
7. Battery negative cable.

NOTE: When the HVAC control panel is first connected to power (or the battery connection is established) the system will perform a check routine lasting approximately two minutes. During this routine the air mix door actuator will cycle full travel in both directions learning the end positions. While this check routine is being performed, the remainder of the system will be non-functional. Following the completion of the check routine, the system will return to normal operation.
