Power Window Motor: Service and Repair

WINDOW MOTOR







Remove or Disconnect

1. Trim panel."Body and Frame/Doors,Hood and Trunk/Door/Door Panel.Doors
2. Water deflector.
3. Window as described in this section.(window glass/service and repairService and Repair

Important

^ Scribe the location of the upper window regulator bolts before loosening or removing them.

4. Upper and lower window regulator mounting bolts.
5. Window regulator motor harness electrical connector.
6. Window regulator assembly from door by rotating assembly clockwise then lifting motor end up and repositioning motor end outside of door. Remove assembly from door.






Install or Connect

1. Window regulator assembly into door.
2. Start upper and lower window regulator mounting bolts, align upper bolts with scribe line, then tighten Window regulator bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Window regulator motor harness electrical connector.
5. Water deflector.
