Fig. 68 ECU Assembly Removal:

1. Disarm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING & ARMING.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Disconnect ECU electrical connectors, Fig. 68.
4. Remove ECU to dash panel attaching screws, then the ECU from dash panel.
5. Reverse procedure to install, ensure all four plastic grommets are located properly and torque screws to 14 inch lbs. Rearm airbag system.
