No 2-3 Shift or 2-3 Shift Slipping, Rough or Hunting

1. Internal converter damage.

2. Governor valve stuck.

3. Governor assembly drive gear retaining pin missing or loose.

4. Governor weights binding.

5. Governor drive gear damaged.

6. Governor support pin in case too long or short.

7. Oil pump stator shaft sleeve scored or improperly installed.

8. Accumulator valve, throttle valve, TV limit valve or 2-3 valve train stuck.

9. Valve body spacer plate or gaskets incorrect, damaged or incorrectly installed.

10. Forward or 3-4 clutch plates worn.

11. Excessive clutch plate travel.

12. Cut or damaged piston seals in input housing assembly.

13. Porosity in 3-4 clutch housing or piston.

14. 3-4 piston check ball stuck, damaged or incorrectly sealing.

15. Restricted input housing assembly apply passages.

16. Forward clutch piston retainer and ball assembly not seating.

17. Input housing assembly sealing balls loose or missing.

18. Third accumulator retainer and ball assembly not seating.

19. Second apply piston seals missing, cut or damaged.

20. 2-4 servo pin seals missing, cut or damaged.
