A/C Compressor Clutch Relay, Computerized Output

A/C Pressure Sensor Circuit:

Purpose:
The A/C relay is energized by the ECM based on information input by the A/C request signal.

Operation:
When the ECM detects that A/C has been requested, the ECM supplies a ground signal to the resistor inside the A/C relay. The switch portion of the relay is now operated energizing the A/C compressor clutch.

Location:
The A/C control relay is located on the left side of the engine compartment, near battery.
