Air Injection Check Valve: Service and Repair
Left SideLeft Side Air Pipe And Check Valve Service:
Remove or Disconnect
1. Clamp and air hoses from ESV left check valve pipe
2. Four check valve clamps
3. Slide connector pipes together
4. Left check valve pipe
5. Unscrew check valve from air injection pipe
Install or Connect
1. Screw check valve onto air injection pipe
Torque Value: 19 Nm (14 lb ft)
2. Position left check valve pipe assembly between check valves and push connector pipes out
3. Position 4 clamps
Torque Value: 1.7 Nm (15 lb in)
4. Air hose from ESV on left check valve pipe
5. Position clamp
Torque Value:1.7 Nm (15 lb in)
Right Side
Right Side Air Pipe Check Valve Service:
Remove or Disconnect
1. Clamp and air hoses from AIR system right pipe
2. Check valve clamps
3. Right check valve pipe
4. Unscrew check valve from air injection pipe
Install or Connect
1. Screw check valve onto air injection pipe
Torque Value: 19 Nm (14 lb ft)
2. Right check valve pipe and clamps
Torque Value:1.7 Nm (15 lb in)
3. Check AIR system for proper operation
