THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO INCLUDE THE LABOR TIME, AND CANCELS AND SUPERSEDES BULLETIN # 361005, DATED SEPTEMBER, 1993.

CONDITION:
Some owners may comment that the mirrors on their vehicles experience some vibration or will not hold adjustment.

CAUSE:

The plastic jack screw sockets on the back of the mirror may be broken (Figure 1).

CORRECTION:
Replace the mirror glass (P/N 12546226[RH]/12546225[LH]) if the jack screw sockets are broken on the mirror back. Broken jack screw sockets cause the mirror glass to be loose within the housing. The jack screw socket material has been changed in order to make it more durable.

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Remove the mirror from the housing by using a screwdriver to pry the trunnion from the saddle which is located on the motor pack.

2. Install the new mirror glass (P/N 12546226 (RH)/12546225 (LH)).
